Aalberts and DMG MORI have received special recognition at ASML Suppliers’ Day 2026 for their collaboration on the design and manufacture of large aluminium frames used in EUV chipmaking systems.

Aalberts advanced mechatronics contributed materials expertise and manufacturing know-how across the project, including qualification, tool management and design optimisation.

ASML brought the companies together to combine Aalberts’ process knowledge with DMG MORI’s machining technology and equipment expertise.

Patrick de Groot, CEO of Aalberts advanced mechatronics, accepted the recognition on behalf of Aalberts alongside Alfred Geissler of DMG MORI.

“Engineering better performance takes a deep understanding of the material, the equipment and the manufacturing process. Our team brings that knowledge and the ambition to keep improving what we deliver for ASML. I’m proud to see their contribution to this partnership recognised,” said Patrick.

Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to ASML for the recognition.
