Aalberts today proudly marked the grand opening of its expanded facility in Eindhoven, a significant milestone with the installation of new advanced heat treatment equipment and the introduction of a MEGA Hot Isostatic Press (HIP) - Aalberts' first in Europe.

The newly expanded 1,500m² Aalberts surface technologies production hall in Eindhoven now houses state-of-the-art machinery that enhances Aalberts’ capability to serve a growing range of industries, including aerospace, energy, medical and 3D printing. HIP technology, which uses high pressure and heat to eliminate defects in materials, improves the strength and durability of components, particularly in critical applications such as jet engines. “This expansion reinforces our commitment to cutting-edge technology and precision,” says Oliver Jäger, CEO of Aalberts surface technologies. “By bringing HIP to Europe, we can better meet the demands of industries where material integrity and performance are critical.”

The Eindhoven site of Aalberts surface technologies is now equipped to process larger and more complex components with enhanced efficiency, serving the growing needs of customers across Europe. The facility, including the new HIP-process is also NADCAP-certified, ensuring that it meets the rigorous standards required in the aerospace sector.
