changes to the Management Board

Aalberts Industries N.V. announces that Mr R.J.N.D. Lousberg has been appointed Director from 1 September 2006. Robert Jan Lousberg will be assuming some of the tasks of Mr B.P. Bolkenstein, who has declared his wish to embark on a new challenge.

Bert Bolkenstein has been employed with Aalberts Industries for more than 17 years and was responsible, among other things, for acquisition activities. The Supervisory Board and the Management Board would like to thank Mr Bolkenstein for his important contribution to the organisation, and wish him much success in his future career. Mr Bolkenstein will remain in our employ until 1 October 2006, his departure takes place by mutual consultation, and Mr Bolkenstein will remain available to finalise a number of projects if required.

Mr Lousberg (1968) is at present Corporate Division Controller at n.v. Nuon. He worked for Priority Telecom from 2000 to 2003, and became Managing Director Corporate Development and Strategy when the company went public. Mr Lousberg began his career at KPN. His last function there was as senior member of the Mergers and Acquisitions department. He studied Financial Business Economics at Rotterdam’s Erasmus University.

After this change, the Management Board of Aalberts Industries N.V. will consist of: Jan Aalberts, President & CEO, John Eijgendaal, CFO, and Robert Jan Lousberg, Director.
