balanced heating systems

Across Europe, the majority of today’s buildings have heating systems that are either unbalanced or poorly balanced. Yet balanced hydronic system flows are vital to ensure not only optimum comfort for buildings’ residents, but also to minimise energy usage and cut costs.
system enhancement
At Aalberts, good is never good enough. We believe that if you’re going to produce effective heating or cooling systems, you need to make them operate excellently.
Too often, buildings’ heating and cooling systems produce an excess of water flow to one area of the building, leading to over consumption, poorly controlled room temperatures, higher energy usage and more expense.
To solve this issue, we developed a full range of balancing valves, which ensure accurate flow distribution across buildings. The valves can accommodate almost every hydronic system configuration, for both new projects and buildings undergoing renovation.
new lease of life
“Renovating a system is a challenge, as the flow and pressures across the branches of the circuit are not precisely known”, explains Maxcens Fernandes, product line sales director at Aalberts hydronic flow control. “To solve this, we developed the AutoSar and the NexusValve Vivax, an automatic balancing thermostatic radiator valve and an automatic balancing valve. The result? Installers only need to set the flow required per radiator. Once set, the valve ensures the flow is never exceeded, no matter what the pressure variations.”
